How we farm

Sustainability

Better soil, better feed, and a shorter road between the two.

Good hay starts in the soil. If the field is tired, no amount of clever baling will fix what ends up in the manger.

What we actually do

  • Rotational cutting schedules that let a sward recover instead of stripping it
  • Soil testing before re-seeding, not after a poor crop
  • Hydroponic fodder grown on site, which removes freight entirely for the green portion of a ration
  • Containerised freight consolidated into full loads rather than part shipments

The closed loop

Our Grow Cube systems let a desert yard produce living green feed year round using a fraction of the water an equivalent pasture would need. That is not a marketing line — it is the only way a Gulf yard gets fresh forage in August.
