GoldFields began with one mare who could not breathe through her own hay. Her name was Sierra. Dust and wood shavings shut her airways down, and no supplier we called could tell us what was actually in the bale they were selling.
So we built it ourselves
Mechanically dust extracted straw. Field cured hay cut at the right maturity. A laboratory sheet attached to every lot. Nineteen years later that same standard leaves our yards in Wyoming, Nebraska, Idaho, New York, Ontario and Dubai.
Turned out she was not the only horse.
